Dietitian - GSSM Local Mental Health

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health is recruiting a Grade 2 Dietitian for its GSSM Local Mental Health service in Shepparton. The service supports adults and older adults to strengthen their wellbeing, build resilience and stay connected to their community, bringing together lived experience workers, mental health clinicians and allied health professionals. This is a part-time fixed-term position of 16 hours per fortnight, running until June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, intervention and management of participants requiring exercise-based therapy, tailored to each person's goals and needs
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and service participants to achieve health and wellbeing outcomes

Required profile

• Autonomous clinician with appropriate clinical knowledge and expertise equivalent to Grade 2; experienced Grade 1s ready to progress to Grade 2 are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work independently while contributing critically to a team
• Good communication with the team and participants, strong insight, reflective practice and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of the principles of care and rehabilitation
