DevSecOps Engineer – Secure CI/CD Platforms

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation operating in a secure and technically complex environment, is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team in Brisbane. You will design, implement and support secure software development platforms, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that underpin mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and optimise secure software development environments.
• Deploy, configure and maintain Kubernetes and Docker platforms.
• Develop and support GitLab CI/CD workflows and integrations.
• Manage Linux and Windows‑based development environments.
• Build and maintain Ansible automation and configuration‑management solutions.
• Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure and application issues.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and configuration records.
• Support ongoing platform maintenance, upgrades and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering or infrastructure automation.
• Strong focus on security, reliability and operational excellence.
• Ability to hold or obtain an NV2 security clearance (NV1 or Baseline acceptable); Australian citizenship preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite 4‑5 days per week in Brisbane and relocate if necessary.
