DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

HCLTech is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to help modernise enterprise applications and CI/CD platforms. You will lead the migration of build and deployment pipelines from TeamCity to GitHub Actions, implement security guardrails, and drive automated testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Drive CI/CD migration from TeamCity to GitHub Actions.
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps guardrails and engineering standards.
• Support dependency and security vulnerability remediation.
• Improve deployment automation and platform modernisation.
• Enable and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality, security, and delivery efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals (SOLID, DRY, composition over inheritance).
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions.
• TypeScript or JavaScript development experience.
• Understanding of automated testing (UI, integration, or unit testing).
• Knowledge of Playwright is highly desirable.
• Background in .NET/C# or Java is advantageous.
• Exposure to DevSecOps, dependency management, and security remediation initiatives.
