DevOps Engineer

About the role

Brighte is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices. You will work at the intersection of infrastructure and engineering, ensuring that our platform for affordable energy equipment is secure, scalable and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain AWS environments, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Terraform code.
• Monitor system performance with Datadog, AWS CloudWatch and Sentry; respond to incidents and optimise reliability.
• Manage database operations across SQL and NoSQL stores and enforce security best‑practice across authentication, authorisation and the broader AWS stack.
• Develop AI‑augmented DevOps workflows using AWS Bedrock, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, embedding appropriate guardrails.
• Partner with engineering squads on architecture, production readiness and platform decisions; mentor the DevOps team through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience on AWS.
• Proven track record delivering complex cloud transformation projects (serverless, microservices, event‑driven architectures).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, network configuration and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools and prompt engineering.
