DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud Platform

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing Australian organisation that is heavily investing in its Azure cloud platform. As a hands‑on DevOps Engineer within the Cloud Platforms team, you will design, build and continuously improve the Azure environment, governance standards and automation capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure IaaS, PaaS and Landing Zones.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Bicep or Terraform.
• Set up monitoring, observability and alerting across the cloud stack.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and automation to increase reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to cloud governance, security and best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to shape future cloud initiatives, including self‑service platforms and AI‑driven automation.

Required profile

• Strong background in infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure architecture, networking and governance.
• Passion for automation, reliability and continuous improvement.
