Developer II – Software Engineer (Node/TypeScript/AWS)

About the role

As a Developer II you will turn Curtin’s digital concepts into reliable, high‑impact solutions. Working within the Data and Integration team, you will collaborate across product owners, UX designers, architects and testers to deliver modern applications that support students, staff and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and document software enhancements for Curtin’s digital platforms.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and continuous delivery discussions.
• Conduct code reviews and help define practical technical standards.
• Provide Level 3 support to keep systems, applications and platforms running smoothly.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
• Explore emerging technologies and champion innovation.
• Ensure solutions meet accessibility, quality and performance expectations from concept to release.
