Developer Experience Engineer – AI‑Driven Workflows

About the role

CreditorWatch is seeking a senior Developer Experience Engineer to lead the transformation of its software delivery pipelines. Working within the Engineering Operations team, you will combine AI‑driven tooling, CI/CD expertise, and cloud infrastructure knowledge to remove friction for developers across multiple squads.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption and operationalisation of AI tooling throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement AI‑assisted workflows that minimise manual effort from ideation to production.
• Establish best‑practice standards and guardrails for AI‑enhanced development across squads.
• Own the performance, reliability and scalability of CI/CD pipelines built on GitHub Actions.
• Reduce build times, eliminate flaky tests and improve deployment confidence.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Continuously identify and eliminate developer friction across the engineering organisation.
• Collaborate with Staff Engineers, a Solution Architect and the Engineering Operations Manager.

• Senior‑level individual contributor with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proven ability to influence and drive adoption across multi‑team environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a systematic problem‑solving mindset.
