Desktop Support Technician (Level II) – Perth

About the role
Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Level II Desktop Support Technician to join its Perth office. The role provides intermediate to advanced support for end‑user devices, ensuring reliable operation of laptops, desktops, mobile devices and related technologies while delivering high‑quality customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and upgrade laptops, desktops, printers, copiers and mobile devices.
- Manage incidents and service requests through the company’s IT service management system, escalating when necessary.
- Apply endpoint security controls and protection tools to safeguard devices and data.
- Support iPhone and Android devices for secure access to Microsoft 365, multi‑factor authentication and Intune‑managed resources.
- Communicate status, recurring issues and risks to users, vendors and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience providing desktop and end‑user support in a corporate environment.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, mobile apps)
- Microsoft Authenticator for multi‑factor authentication
- Microsoft Intune for device management
- Endpoint security tools and practices
