About the role

Join Kmart’s fast‑paced design team to create on‑trend, affordable product ranges for categories such as Entertainment, Party, Active, Travel & Luggage, and Pets. You will translate global trends into compelling collections that reach millions of customers each week.

Key responsibilities

• Design original, on‑trend product ranges that reflect Kmart’s distinctive style.
• Own end‑to‑end product development from concept through production.
• Translate global trends into clear seasonal direction across multiple categories.
• Create graphic, print, and pattern artwork and develop accurate technical drawings and specifications.
• Partner closely with Buyers and cross‑functional teams in a high‑volume environment.
• Present concepts confidently to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing general merchandise product ranges across several categories.
• Strong trend‑forecasting ability and commercial, customer‑focused mindset.
• Solid product development experience from concept to production.
• Strong graphic design skills, including print, pattern, and artwork execution.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Buyers and cross‑functional partners.
• Portfolio showcasing product, trend translation, and graphic design work.
