About the role

Coastal Lakes College is seeking an enthusiastic Design and Technology teacher to join its Year 7‑12 team from Term 3, 2026. The role involves delivering engaging, future‑focused learning experiences in Design, Technology and Engineering for a diverse student cohort.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Design and Technology curriculum across Years 7‑12.
• Develop and lead projects that foster critical thinking, creativity and real‑world problem solving.
• Support students of varying abilities, including those with academic extensions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular initiatives and promote student engagement.
• Contribute to the school’s vision of “success for all students” and its motto – Imagine, Believe, Inspire, Achieve.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a background in Design, Technology or Engineering education.
• Passion for innovative teaching practices and high student care.
