Design and Technology Teacher (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Halls Head College is seeking a full‑time Design and Technology teacher for a 10‑month fixed‑term contract starting Term 3, 2026. The role may be extended for an additional 12 months or become permanent based on performance and school needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Design and Technology curriculum for lower and upper school students.
• Facilitate hands‑on projects that develop students' problem‑solving, creativity and teamwork.
• Ensure alignment with the Western Australian Curriculum and the Technology and Design Process.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider community to support student achievement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum for Design and Technology.
• Experience delivering and assessing practical technology projects.
• Understanding of the Technology and Design Process.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
