Deputy Director – Enterprise Assurance

About the role

The Deputy Director – Enterprise Assurance provides senior leadership, independent assurance and strategic business planning for the MQ‑4 Triton Enterprise. Reporting to the Director of the MQ‑4 Management Unit, you will oversee a team that delivers supplier performance assurance and internal assurance services while ensuring budget and commercial arrangements align with enterprise objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and integrate assurance activities across the MQ‑4 Triton Enterprise.
• Manage supplier performance assurance and internal MQ‑4 Management Unit assurance services.
• Coordinate the MQ‑4 Management Unit Battle Rhythm, high‑level tasking and business planning.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Director MQ‑4 Capability Planning to develop and evaluate performance strategies.
• Act as Director MQ‑4 Management Unit when required.
• Ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and manage dual‑citizenship considerations.
• Support frequent aeroplane travel and occasional non‑office work environments.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation experience.
• Proven ability to resolve complex, high‑impact issues.
• Strong understanding of defence acquisition, sustainment and regulatory frameworks.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in varied conditions.

Required skills

• ITAR compliance knowledge.
• Budget management and commercial arrangement oversight.
• Supplier performance assurance expertise.
