About the role
We are seeking an experienced leader to take ownership of a busy afternoon depot operation in Perth. This permanent, full‑time position runs Monday‑Friday on a PM shift and offers a competitive salary package.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop the operational team during the afternoon shift.
- Coordinate daily freight movement and dispatch, ensuring proper resource coverage.
- Work closely with drivers and internal teams to maintain high safety and compliance standards.
- Monitor operational performance, address issues promptly and drive process improvements.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in transport, freight, logistics or depot operations.
- Strong people‑management and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and load restraint legislation.
- Hands‑on, safety‑focused approach with solid understanding of depot and yard processes.
