Dentist - Wednesdays and Fridays, Cosmetic and Implant Practice

About the role

A private dental practice in central Adelaide, focused on cosmetic and implant dentistry, is looking for an experienced Dentist to join its team on Wednesdays and Fridays. The practice has established patient books from the start of the week, and there is already a hygienist working Wednesdays, so the Dentist can work independently while enjoying collaborative support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new patients, examinations and preventative dentistry independently
• On Wednesdays: examine patients attending hygiene appointments, build ongoing relationships, diagnose treatment needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans
• On Fridays: treat patients booked in advance for preventative care (about eight 60-minute appointments per week)
• Procedures may include veneers, teeth whitening, composite fillings, crowns, implant consultations and restorative treatment, tooth extractions, periodontal care and dental emergencies

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist
• Previous experience working independently in private practice
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills, confidence with new patient examinations
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
• Interest or experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry
• Availability to work Wednesdays and Fridays
