Dental Assistant - Permanent Part-Time

About the role

A professional dental practice in Neutral Bay, Sydney, is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant for a permanent part-time position. The role works three or four days per week, with flexibility on start and finish times across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance across a range of procedures
• Prepare surgeries, instruments and materials
• Maintain high sterilisation and infection-control standards
• Support clinicians and the wider practice team
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for
• Assist with stock control and general clinical duties

Required profile

• Previous dental assisting experience
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Friendly, reliable and well presented
• Organised and able to work effectively in a busy practice
• Flexible with start and finish times
• Available for three or four days across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Required skills

• Cert III in Dental Assisting preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterilisation and infection control
