Defence Site Supervisor

MSS Security is looking for a Defence Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at a high-profile Defence site in the Australian Capital Territory. This is a key leadership role where you act as the main link between employees, management and Defence representatives, delivering safe, compliant and professional security services. Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily site operations to deliver a professional, reliable and customer-focused security service.
• Ensure compliance with Defence standards, post orders, contractual obligations, company policies and relevant legislation.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members in their Access Control Officer (ACO) roles.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and operational procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies, making sound decisions under pressure.
• Build strong working relationships with Defence representatives, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Champion the company's Values and Leadership Charter.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship (required).
• Current minimum NV1 security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in the security industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to compliance, continuous improvement and high professional standards.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
