Deal Leader - Audit and Assurance

About the role

EY is looking for a Deal Leader to lead its most strategic, complex and commercially significant pursuits across Audit and Assurance. The role involves developing and executing winning pursuit strategies, mobilising multidisciplinary teams, shaping commercial solutions and positioning EY's strongest value proposition to clients. It is a hybrid position based in Warringah, Sydney, and may be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and execution of complex strategic pursuits, driving winning outcomes through strong deal strategy, commercial insight and stakeholder engagement.
• Coach and mobilise high-performing pursuit teams, aligning resources, capabilities and expertise to maximise the chance of winning.
• Engage with senior EY leadership and client stakeholders to shape solutions, negotiate commercial outcomes and drive pursuit momentum from opportunity identification through to contract close.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large, strategic and commercially complex pursuits in professional services, consulting, audit, business transformation or strategic sourcing.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams through end-to-end pursuit lifecycles, from qualification and solution development to contract close.
• Ideally: experience in multi-geography pursuits with onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery, exposure to audit, managed services, business transformation or IT transformation deals, and experience coaching and mentoring pursuit professionals.
