DC Team Manager – AM Shift

About the role

Super Retail Group is hiring two DC Team Managers for its Brendale Distribution Centre. You will lead the AM shift (5:30 am‑2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday), reporting to the DC Operations Manager and ensuring efficient, accurate, on‑time service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Meet service‑delivery performance targets for your area.
• Create and execute daily/weekly plans, communicating priorities clearly to the team.
• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide hands‑on leadership, building trust and motivation among front‑line staff.
• Drive safety leadership through start‑up meetings, safety shares, warm‑ups, pre‑start checks and reinforcement of safe behaviours.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse, distribution centre or logistics operations with team‑leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, focused on team motivation and engagement.
• Ability to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and implement actionable measures.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF devices.
• Understanding of labour models, associated costs and KPI‑driven environments.
