Data Migration Architect Manager

About the role

As a Data Migration Architect Manager you will lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise data migration programmes, ensuring data moves accurately, securely and efficiently across cloud and on‑premise platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers and delivery teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead data migration strategies, architectures and delivery roadmaps for enterprise transformation programmes.
• Conduct source system analysis, data profiling and migration assessments to determine readiness and identify quality issues.
• Facilitate workshops to define migration scope, data mappings, transformation rules, validation criteria and reconciliation requirements.
• Design and oversee ETL/ELT frameworks, data governance, quality, cleansing and remediation processes.
• Develop reconciliation frameworks, exception handling and validation controls, and lead mock migrations, cut‑over activities and post‑go‑live support.
• Provide leadership and guidance to data engineers and project teams throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, migration or architecture roles.
• Proven delivery of large‑scale enterprise data migration programmes across cloud and on‑premise platforms.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with experience facilitating workshops and influencing decisions.
• Experience working in Agile and enterprise delivery environments.
