Data Engineer - MS Fabric (Canberra)

About the role

Vivanti Consulting, a global tech consultancy, is hiring Data Engineers and Senior Data Engineers in Canberra to work on critical public sector engagements. The role suits people who enjoy solving problems, thinking critically and experimenting with new tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build pipelines to ingest, transform and load data
• Set up data lakes and warehouses for scalable access
• Keep systems secure, reliable and cost-effective
• Collaborate with analysts, ML engineers and platform teams

Required profile

• Experience in data or tech is welcome; experience levels vary
• Ability to work independently and as a great teammate
• Australian citizen eligible for an Australian Government security clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)

Required skills

• Modern data stack: MS Fabric and cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Graph databases such as Neo4j
• Advanced Python, Spark and SQL
• AI and machine learning frameworks for data transformation
