Data Engineer

About the role

Liberty is building an AI‑first data platform on Microsoft Fabric and Azure. As a Data Engineer you will design production‑grade pipelines, develop Python services on AKS and create curated data layers for Power BI and AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Medallion‑architecture pipelines (Bronze → Silver → Gold).
• Deploy and maintain Python services on Azure Kubernetes Service for AI and operational tasks.
• Build curated data layers that feed Power BI dashboards and AI pipelines such as speech‑to‑text and NLP.
• Manage infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD templates for scalable deployments.
• Collaborate with Risk, Data Science and Technology teams to deliver high‑impact data products.
• Ensure data quality through validation, anomaly detection and automated testing.

Required profile

• Curious, adaptable engineer who learns quickly across data, infrastructure, AI and BI domains.
• Strong focus on data quality, reproducibility and semantic modelling.
• Enjoys clean code, strong engineering practices and collaborative delivery.
