Cybersecurity Engineer – VIE (2 years) in Brisbane

About the role

Join the VINCI Energies Information Systems (VESI) Cybersecurity team as a VIE Cybersecurity Engineer. After a 6‑month assignment in Paris with the CSIRT, you will relocate to Brisbane to support the APAC region for two years, contributing to a global "follow‑the‑sun" security operation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze security alerts from SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Respond promptly to incidents, perform mitigation and forensic tasks.
• Act as the VESI infrastructure relay for the APAC region, ensuring continuity of IT services.
• Develop and fine‑tune detection rules in security consoles.
• Collect, analyse and correlate cyber‑threat intelligence from multiple sources.
• Conduct security audits and communicate project status to business stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a SOC, CSIRT or CERT environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and curiosity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English (minimum B2).
• Engineering degree (BAC+5) in Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• Age between 18 and 28, French or EEA nationality.
