Cyber & IT Professionals – Support Australia’s Defence Capability

About the role

KBR is seeking experienced Cyber Security and Information Technology professionals to support critical defence and national security programs across Australia. You will join innovative teams delivering secure, resilient, and mission‑critical technology solutions for the future of defence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure systems and networks for defence projects.
• Provide cyber security analysis, risk management and governance across enterprise and operational technology environments.
• Develop and support software, cloud platforms and infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with defence security clearances and regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber security, IT infrastructure, networking, cloud engineering, software development or related fields.
• Background working in defence or defence‑industry projects is preferred.
• Ability to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance (or higher).

Required skills

• Cyber security frameworks, risk management and secure system design.
• Network engineering and systems administration.
• Cloud technologies and enterprise infrastructure.
• Software development, DevOps practices and solution architecture.
