Customer Team Leader

About the role

As a Customer Team Leader at IKEA you will oversee daily store operations and guide a team of co‑workers to deliver a seamless, positive shopping experience for our guests. You will work in a fast‑paced, 7‑day‑a‑week environment, supporting both the front‑line staff and the store manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
• Empower and motivate co‑workers through knowledge sharing, coaching and on‑the‑job conversations.
• Support recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development.
• Listen to customers, act in line with IKEA values and act as a store ambassador.
• Implement and follow up on the department’s Customer action plan.
• Supervise compliance with regulatory guidelines and store standards.

Required profile

• Highly developed communication and organisational abilities.
• Passion for understanding and improving the customer journey.
• Leadership mindset with a drive to thrive in a multi‑shift retail environment.
