Customer Service Specialist (West Perth)

About the role

Based in Metso's West Perth office, you will join a team of 12 professionals responsible for managing the full quotation and order lifecycle. This 18‑month fixed‑term position focuses on delivering fast, courteous service to customers across the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries efficiently, responding within the same business day.
• Prepare and issue standard part quotations to customers within 48 hours.
• Manage the quotation and open‑order backlog throughout the entire order cycle.
• Expedite orders and provide timely feedback to customers.
• Support the Specialist Order Execution team during peak workload periods.
• Process inquiries, quotations, sales orders and customer claims.
• Apply Metso’s quality‑assurance and quality‑control documentation standards.
• Use telephone, Microsoft Teams and the Salesforce CRM to communicate with local and global operations teams.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to commit to an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
