Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) is recruiting a Customer Service Specialist for its National Contact Centre in Revesby. You will be a key point of contact for customers across Australia, handling phone, email and online enquiries and helping them find the right solutions. The roster is Tuesday to Saturday, with free onsite parking; a hybrid roster is available after completing training.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email enquiries professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Assist with online enquiries through the company web portal
• Work with the team to meet daily goals and resolve customer queries
• Record customer information and interactions accurately in company databases

Required profile

• Availability to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, helpful and positive attitude
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service experience is an advantage but not essential

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
