Customer Service Officer - Malaga

About the role

Cleanaway, Australia's largest waste management and resource recovery company, is looking for a Customer Service Officer for its Malaga site in Western Australia. This is a varied, permanent full-time role where you work with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver good service and keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service and administrative support to allocated contracts and sites.
• Manage inbound calls, respond to enquiries and give information about the company, products and services.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate more complex issues when required.
• Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and internal support teams.
• Assist with invoicing queries, manage BPAY payments and keep accurate records of customer interactions.
• Meet customer service KPIs, including average handling time and time in queue, while completing tasks accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience and the confidence to communicate professionally and build positive relationships.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for helping customers.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
