Customer Service Officer

About the role

AMA Collision in Townsville is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact for clients visiting our workshop. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a friendly, informative experience that reflects our high standards of service across the collision repair industry.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers on arrival and maintain a customer‑friendly environment.
• Provide clear updates on repair progress and estimated completion dates.
• Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with insurance providers regarding claims and repair authorisations.
• Support management with inventory tasks, including parts, paint and consumables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer service role.
• Highly professional, personable and able to build strong relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work collaboratively with a team.

Required skills

• Strong systems experience and competent computer abilities.
