Customer Service Assistant – Retail & Post Office

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Customer Service Assistant to join our busy news agency and Australia Post outlet in Inala, Brisbane. The role supports both the newsstand and post‑office counters, providing fast, courteous service to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily cash balancing and process magazine and newspaper returns.
• Assist customers with postal, parcel, banking and lottery services.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure an attractive presentation of news agency and post‑office merchandise.
• Build relationships with regular customers and promote additional services.

Required profile

• Hard‑working, committed and self‑motivated.
• Available for approximately 25 hours per week, with flexibility to cover additional shifts.
• Junior applicants are welcome; availability between 14:00 and 17:30 is preferred.
• Vietnamese language skills are a plus.
