About the role

The Curriculum Leader (Band B-1) will guide the development and implementation of the curriculum at Hendon Primary School. This full‑time position runs from January 2027 to January 2030 and offers flexibility for part‑time or alternative arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, review and continuous improvement of the school curriculum.
• Support teachers in delivering high‑quality learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Coordinate professional development and coaching for staff.
• Monitor student outcomes and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with the Western Adelaide Shores partnership and other community stakeholders.
• Manage curriculum resources and ensure compliance with educational standards.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with current registration.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum leadership or similar educational roles.
• Commitment to a three‑year tenure (2027‑2030) and ability to work full‑time.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Understanding of the South Australian education context.
