Counsel, International (APAC Legal)

About the role

Hims & Hers, a health and wellness platform, is looking for an enterprising and creative Counsel, International to join its growing and collaborative Australian Legal team. You will provide practical legal advice to teams across the APAC business to support the development, launch and promotion of products and solutions, working on issues at the intersection of healthcare, technology and e-commerce. The role reports to the Senior Legal Commercial Counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with business stakeholders
• Provide legal and process support to the Patient Support and Operations teams
• Manage obligations arising from transaction documentation and support corporate structures
• Manage corporate governance across APAC entities
• Maintain internal legal guidance and give clear, concise, business-focused legal advice
• Build relationships and trust with business partners

Required profile

• Australian law degree with a practising certificate and 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law
• Proactive, organised, team-oriented and able to thrive in a hybrid working environment
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment

Required skills

• Strong drafting and communication skills, explaining complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
• Nice to have: exposure to corporate governance, M&A or commercial contracts in a growth context, consumer, technology or health law, and hands-on use of AI and automation tools
