Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will support project financial performance by forecasting, planning and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate cost projections and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial forecasts and plans for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and manage project data to influence decision‑making.
• Produce estimates at completion, mid‑term plans, and annual/monthly cost forecasts.
• Control and reconcile actual costs incurred against budgets.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Experience in project cost planning, scheduling and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of costing and management‑accounting practices.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with non‑finance functions.
