Corporate Travel Consultant

About the role

In Travel Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Travel Consultant to join its boutique team in Melbourne. You will be the trusted first point of contact for business travellers, managing end‑to‑end domestic and international travel programmes while upholding client policies and delivering personalised service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full travel cycles – flights, accommodation, ground transport and ancillary services – for a portfolio of corporate accounts.
• Construct competitive itineraries, apply fare optimisation techniques and handle ticketing through global distribution systems.
• Respond swiftly to changes, disruptions or emergencies, ensuring duty‑of‑care compliance.
• Maintain travel bookings within each client’s policy and preferred‑supplier framework.
• Collaborate closely with leadership, contribute ideas and support the growth of service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a corporate travel consultant with a strong service orientation.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure while maintaining detail‑perfect accuracy.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, boutique environment where work is visible.
• Willingness to engage with clients and internal teams to continuously improve processes.

Required skills

• Confidence using GDS booking platforms.
• Expertise in fare construction and ticketing.
• Understanding of corporate travel policies, preferred‑supplier programs and duty‑of‑care requirements.
