Corporate Tax Accountant

About the role

Perks, one of Australia's largest privately owned accounting and wealth advisory firms, is building a dedicated Corporate Tax team and is looking for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join it at the start. You will learn from experienced leaders, including Neil Oakes and John Rawson, who recently joined from Deloitte. The firm works with ASX-listed companies, large private groups, high-net-worth individuals and family businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Corporate income tax compliance and reporting
• Tax effect accounting and deferred tax calculations
• Tax consolidation analysis and implementation
• Advice on corporate restructures and transactions
• Assist with ATO reviews and engagement activities
• Technical tax research and preparation of written advice
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting senior team members on complex engagements and contributing to client service

Required profile

• CA qualified or currently studying towards CA qualification
• Ideally experience in a corporate tax team within the Big Four or a mid-tier firm
