About the role

The Cook will prepare and cook high-quality food in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to established standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrées, and desserts, following menu specifications.
• Measure, mix, and process ingredients using grinders, slicers, mixers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, adjusting techniques as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and productive food service areas.
• Assist in developing new menu items and train kitchen staff.

Required profile

• Culinary degree (advantageous) and relevant experience in a high‑volume restaurant.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot environments.

Required skills

• Basic knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, grinders, and slicers.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance.
