Contracts Administrator - Residential Construction

About the role

A privately owned construction business delivering turnkey residential homes across Western Australia is seeking a Contracts Administrator. The company designs, manufactures and delivers homes in as little as 15 weeks, and has grown enough to need someone who supports projects from contract award through to completion. The role is based in Bellevue, with regional travel two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts across multiple residential construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Support Project Managers with project coordination, scheduling and reporting.
• Coordinate Shire approvals and service connections.
• Maintain accurate records for contracts, subcontractors, suppliers and project activity.
• Monitor project delivery against contractual requirements, timelines and budgets.
• Review and improve contract administration processes, systems and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator, Project Administrator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Willingness to travel to Northam two days per week.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of construction contracts, variations and project financials.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams, clients and subcontractors.
