Contracts Administrator

About the role

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join its South Australian team in Adelaide, working on large‑scale construction projects. You will support the delivery of contracts and ensure compliance with safety and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company safety policies and ensure OH&S compliance.
• Manage tendering of subcontract packages, including preparation, issuance, receipt, comparison and recommendation of tenders.
• Prepare contract documents for each trade/subcontract.
• Assist the Project Manager with administration of subcontract packages, progress and variation claims, and related financial matters.
• Contribute to monthly reporting on cash flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters and cost analysis.
• Establish and maintain effective site or office administration systems in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the building construction industry.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship‑building abilities at all business levels.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and adapt to shifting priorities.
