Contract Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to support LSSA’s contract management function. Reporting to the Contract Management Lead, you will oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring governance, performance, compliance and commercial outcomes across LSSA and LSWA.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day management of assigned material contracts, from implementation through to close‑out and transition.
• Act as the nominated Contract Manager for LSSA’s 47‑year concession with the State.
• Maintain contract obligation registers and ensure business owners meet their commitments.
• Translate contractual requirements into practical business actions with stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery of milestones, service levels, reporting and governance activities.
• Monitor performance, risks, issues and compliance, escalating and supporting mitigation as needed.
• Manage formal contract processes, correspondence, records and audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Strong contract management capability with commercial judgement.
• Experience in contract, commercial or supplier management, preferably with complex or business‑critical agreements.
• Understanding of contractual frameworks, service delivery obligations, risk, governance and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Legal qualifications are not essential but are highly regarded.
