Continuous Improvement Lead (Manufacturing)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, reliability, waste reduction, productivity, efficiency, and unit cost.
• Coach operators and frontline leaders in problem solving, root‑cause analysis, and standard work.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyse performance data (OEE, losses, waste, defects) to identify trends and prioritize losses.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and visual performance boards linking daily performance to site targets.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and on‑floor projects with operations, maintenance, engineering, and process owners.
• Support equipment care, process stability practices, and establish routine meeting cadences to review performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Food Science or related field, or at least 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing/FMCG.
• Technical experience across end‑to‑end food manufacturing, including multiple preservation processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement approaches.
• Eligible to work in Australia with full working rights.
