Content Writer (Biology)

About the role

At Atomi, we are looking for a Content Writer with strong Biology expertise to create engaging educational materials. You will translate complex curriculum requirements into clear, student‑friendly lesson plans, video scripts, and assessments that support teachers and learners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality educational content, including video scripts, assessments and text lessons.
• Convert curriculum documents into practical course and lesson plans.
• Break down complex Biology syllabus points into easy‑to‑understand content.
• Follow a detailed style guide to ensure consistency and audience relevance.
• Manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate with Visual Content Designers and Subject Team Leads.
• Share ideas, provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement through workshops and team discussions.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of secondary school Biology (HSC or VCE experience required).
• Strong ability to deliver content that works for students.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Passion for education and learning design.
• Comfortable collaborating and explaining ideas clearly.
• Confidence using project‑management tools or willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated success in Biology as a teacher or student; teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
