Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist - Regional Victoria

About the role

Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for a permanent full-time consultant position in a regional public health service in Victoria, about 90 minutes from Melbourne. You will work alongside the Clinical Director and a multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing and allied health professionals in an established O&G department that provides specialist services to the local and surrounding communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a broad obstetrics and gynaecology practice in a major regional referral setting.
• Work closely with the Clinical Director and contribute to high-quality patient care and the ongoing development of the service.
• Participate in teaching and supervision of junior medical staff.
• Contribute to clinical governance and service improvement.

Required profile

• FRANZCOG and AHPRA specialist registration, or eligibility for FRANZCOG within the next six months.
• Appropriate specialist experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
