Consultant - Corporate Tax Compliance

About the role

KPMG is looking for a tax professional with Australian corporate tax experience for its Delivery and Data Excellence (DDX) team, which delivers corporate tax compliance services to a broad range of clients using tax return engines, workflow tools and data analytics. The role focuses on delivering technical tax compliance to financial services clients and supporting key service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax compliance engagements, working collaboratively with other team members.
• Work with high-performing teams and data delivery tools to deliver tax compliance and advisory services, including distribution reviews, tax returns and other services, to financial services clients.
• Ensure work is high quality, technically accurate and delivered on time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in tax compliance and process-based activities to improve tools, technology and products for clients.

Required profile

• Strong Australian corporate tax compliance experience, including preparation and/or review of company and trust tax returns, distribution reviews and tax provisions.
• Ability to prepare high-quality, client-ready deliverables such as income tax returns and tax provisions.
• Organised, efficient, with a high attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills.
• Honest, ethical approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Successful completion of a Master of Tax or CA qualification.
