Construction Project Coordinator

About the role

The Planning & Infrastructure team at Launceston Airport is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to manage a portfolio of minor capital works within a live airport environment. You will work across building, civil and infrastructure projects, collaborating with tenants, contractors, regulators and operational teams to shape the airport’s future development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the airport’s minor capital works program, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and industry standards.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, tenants and third‑party works, maintaining compliance with airport requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Support Project Managers on major capital works by handling project reporting, procurement, contractor onboarding, permits and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering building and civil infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and contractors effectively.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the capacity to build relationships across diverse groups.
• Positive, proactive attitude with excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
