Construction Litigation Lawyer – Senior Associate / Special Counsel

About the role

We are recruiting a Construction Litigation Lawyer to join a leading national law firm’s highly regarded Construction & Projects Disputes team. The role involves advising and representing government, principal and contractor clients on complex, high‑value disputes across infrastructure, construction, energy and resources sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation and arbitration matters in Supreme and Federal Courts, domestic and international arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Handle claims involving delay, disruption, quantum, and technical project issues.
• Provide strategic dispute avoidance and claims management advice.
• Collaborate closely with senior partners on technically sophisticated matters.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience in construction, projects, infrastructure or major disputes.
• Strong litigation and dispute resolution experience, preferably from a top‑tier or respected mid‑tier practice.
• Excellent academic record and commitment to technical excellence.
• Experience in a Commonwealth jurisdiction is welcomed.
