Conference and Events Operations Manager

About the role

The Conference and Events Operations Manager will join Pullman Adelaide’s Food & Beverage team, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. This hands‑on position supports the delivery of high‑quality conference and event services across the hotel’s dedicated conference floor.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for conference and event guests, ensuring their needs are met from planning through execution.
• Supervise and schedule F&B staff involved in event service, maintaining high standards of service and safety.
• Prepare and reconcile event accounts, monitor equipment requirements and manage vendor relationships.
• Support revenue‑generating initiatives while maintaining strict cost controls.
• Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, external suppliers and contractors to deliver seamless events.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Proven senior‑level management experience in food & beverage or venue operations (e.g., F&B Duty Manager, Venue Manager).
• Valid Responsible Persons badge and RSA certification for South Australia.
• Ability to provide an Australian police clearance.
