Community Safety Team Leader – Safety Patrol

About the role

Roper Gulf Regional Council is recruiting a Community Safety Team Leader for its Safety Patrol team in Borroloola. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 30 June 2028. The leader supervises staff delivering community safety patrols and supports sport, recreation and community safety programs, working under the direction of the Community Safety Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare rosters and work plans
• Maintain facilities, equipment and vehicles
• Supervise volunteers and work experience participants
• Liaise with stakeholders such as Police, the Women's Safe House, the local school and the local health clinic to help keep the community safe
