Community Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The Community Engagement Coordinator will create and nurture a local community of Vuly families in Brisbane. Based at our Wakerley headquarters, you will travel across the city to host meet‑ups, playdates and partner events, building authentic brand advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and grow the “Vuly Mother’s Group”, planning regular meet‑ups, playdates and activities at parks, showrooms and partner venues.
• Develop relationships with mothers’ groups, parenting networks, schools and community organisations, negotiating co‑hosted events and collaborations.
• Scope, budget and coordinate sponsorship opportunities, handling logistics for both hosted and sponsored events.
• Capture community stories, manage an active community channel and align messaging with the Marketing team.
• Track membership growth, engagement metrics and event outcomes, reporting to the Marketing Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community engagement, events, brand ambassador or grassroots marketing roles.
• Strong existing networks or the ability to build connections within Brisbane parenting and family communities.
• Confident, warm public‑facing communicator comfortable representing a brand at events.
• Highly organised with the capacity to manage multiple events and partnerships simultaneously.
• Current driver’s licence, own vehicle and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

• Short‑form video creation.
