Communications Manager – Assistant Vice President

About the role

Citi is seeking a proactive Communications Advisor to join its Global Communications team in Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Global Communications for Australia and New Zealand, you will support both internal and external communications while managing key digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Source, draft and publish content for internal digital channels such as SharePoint, digital signage and newsletters.
• Manage and grow the local LinkedIn presence, including drafting posts and coordinating approvals.
• Track, analyse and report on internal communications performance to optimise engagement.
• Compile media coverage reports and campaign dashboards using AI‑enabled tools.
• Provide tactical support for external communications, maintain media lists and assist with employee engagement events.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style for different channels.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Self‑starter attitude, collaborative team player and ability to build relationships across business lines.

Required skills

• Experience managing digital content on SharePoint and digital signage platforms.
• Proficiency with professional social media networks, particularly LinkedIn.
• Ability to work with data and analytics tools to produce clear performance reports.
