Communications & Engagement Advisor

About the role

IGO is looking for a confident, creative Communications & Engagement Advisor to join its South Perth office. You will be at the centre of content creation, event delivery and stakeholder collaboration, helping to strengthen IGO’s brand and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal and external events such as town halls, conferences and awards.
• Coordinate community partnership activities and manage event logistics, collateral and delivery.
• Create audience‑focused content across digital channels, including copy, video, photography and graphic assets.
• Capture and edit video and photography for internal and external communications.
• Design presentations, reports, infographics and digital assets aligned with IGO’s brand.
• Support social media planning and execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across teams and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, PR, Journalism, Media, Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, video, photography and visual assets within a corporate environment.
• Clear and confident communication skills and experience in event coordination (including occasional out‑of‑office hours).
• Customer‑focused, adaptable and willing to learn in a small, fast‑paced team.
