Commercial Quality Assistant Manager – Handling, Storage & Distribution

About the role

The Commercial Quality Assistant Manager will provide quality support for ANZ Loan Kit & Set Creation Operations, facilities, 3PL and other stakeholders, ensuring Johnson & Johnson products are stored and distributed with the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of Quality Management System elements for DePuy Synthes national warehouses, loan kits and set creation operations in Australia and New Zealand.
• Ensure handling, storage, temperature, humidity, facilities, utilities and equipment validation meet regulatory and product standards.
• Maintain quality agreements with suppliers (3PL, transportation, calibration, pest control) and oversee change controls, non‑conformances and CAPA processes.
• Conduct or support supplier audits, manage audit observations, and drive remediation and closure.
• Develop, review and approve supply‑chain related documentation (SOPs, work instructions) to guarantee product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health, science, pharmacy, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, medical‑device warehousing or distribution, with strong knowledge of quality requirements and regulations.
• Deep understanding of international quality accreditation standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and regulatory requirements for medical‑device distribution in ANZ.
